ESTA REPLACES I 94-W FORM
Effective March 15, citizens from countries participating in the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) traveling on Air Canada to, or via the United States, must obtain prior approval through the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA). This includes accompanied or unaccompanied children. Without a valid ESTA, those travelers won’t be accepted on board Air Canada flights to the U.S.
ESTA applications include the same identification currently collected on I-94W form; US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) recommend that applications are submitted as soon as travelers are planning their travel to or via the U.S.
For a complete list of participating VWP countries and information about the program, please refer here.
Your customers can apply for an ESTA at https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/.
