| Mexico Travel Warning March 15, 2010 Dear Travel Industry colleague, Once again, we find ourselves in the middle of a situation that imperils consumer confidence and our business to the destination of Mexico. On Sunday, March 14, 2010 the U.S. Department of issued a Travel Warning following an increase in violence in Northern Mexico border states. We do not take this warning lightly and we carry heavy hearts for the innocent lives lost by these drug-related acts of violence. However, as a leading travel provider to Mexico, Funjet Vacations wants to ensure that this warning is taken in the proper perspective. This increase in violence is primarily centered in the Northern border cities of Tijuana, Nogales, Ciudad Juarez, Nuevo Laredo, Monterrey and Matamoros, hundreds of miles from the tourist destinations frequented by our customers. The warning clearly mentions that millions of U.S. citizens travel safely to Mexico each year and ensures that business and tourist areas can remain safe and enjoyable when common-sense precautions are taken. Funjet Vacations remains committed to our customer’s vacation experience and their safety is a cornerstone of our company’s values. We encourage people to use common sense when traveling anywhere, not just Mexico. We offer customers peace of mind and care throughout their vacation with our 24/7 customer support desk and in-destination support. We will continue to provide you with accurate information in order to productively communicate with your clients. We encourage you to read through the information we’re providing to address your clients’ concerns with clear and correct responses. Please take the time to review our Facts & Information sheet that addresses travel safety and the current issues. Our VAX Vendor Center will also be updated with this information and we will work quickly to get updated facts as well as Mexico deals and offers posted on FunjetAgentAdvantage.com. 2009 represented a challenging year for Mexico’s tourism industry, yet millions of U.S. travelers visited the country and came home with experiences that only Mexico can offer. We realize that the destination is an extremely large portion of your business and livelihood in addition to the people of Mexico relying on us for their livelihood. We will work with you to protect this business and rely on you to help us communicate that Mexico continues to be an amazing, safe, fun and affordable place to go on vacation. Don’t hesitate to contact your Funjet sales representative with any questions regarding the recent Mexico Travel Warning, Funjet’s response to the current media, or with feedback you’re receiving from clients or prospective clients.
