Hello. I wanted to let you all know that the office is closed this Friday and Saturday in celebration of July 4. Paul and I have taken the kids on summer vacation on a houseboat. I will share stories and pictures when we return. We will be back to normal office hours on Monday July 6. Have a great and safe fourth.

Hello. I am writing to inform you all  that I am taking an Apple Vacations FAM on May 16 and returning on the 20. I will be going to Cancun and am so excited to go and take pictures and get information on the resorts around that area. When I get back I will share with you all how my trip went and how I rate the Resort we are staying at. Have a great day and I will post pics and my FAM story next week.

Spring break is here again!!!
So we asked our kids what they wanted to do this spring break for vacation….we got the usual lets go to Disney Land, can we go to Florida again bla bla bla. So we thought we would do something completely different this time.
And at 8:30pm on Friday night we took our kids to the sporting goods store and told them we were going camping in the morning and so we all picked out our tent, sleeping bags, etc…
As the store was kicking us out (literally) we had what we thought would be all the necessities of tent camping with 4 kids.
So we get home and we prepare all the things we will need for our tent camping experience.
The next morning we leave pretty early and head up to the lake and to find a great spot for our tent and for the kids to play.
We got really lucky and found a gorgeous view of the hills and lake (see picture) and we all decided this was “the” spot.
We started to put the tent together and realized we had no hammer to drive the spikes into the ground. Luckily there was a nice retired man that lived on the camp site and he let us use his. (note to self) make sure we have our own hammer next time.
Finally the tent is up and the kids have arranged their sleeping bags just where they want them. So we decide to take our new Hummer off roading with the kids…….keep in mind that I am 6 months pregnant. We had so much fun and the kids I think almost lost their voices from yelling and screaming on the off road adventure. It was really great!
We found a nice little spot on the lake to let the kids out and play for a little while.
Once we got back to the tent (everyone was starving and ready to eat) we always make daddy the chef he made us really good chicken and green beans and then of course we had smores after that.
All in all we had a great time on our camping adventure. I would love to hear some of your tent camping adventures with kids….please send me some stories of your own!

Ok so my husband says to me the other day, ” I want you to start planning our next summer trip”. So I am thinking this summer is  when our baby is due to be born. How am I going to plan a memorable summer vacation when the airlines will not let me fly (to far along with baby). The cruise lines won’t let me cruise either. And knowing how huge I’m going to be, I don’t want to be cooped up in a car driving trip for hours upon hours, listening to our kiddies say, “our we there yet, dad?” So I start doing what any good travel agent would do and Google fun destinations in our area that are great for family trips.

I have roughly 8 weeks before the Jamaica PTN International event. And although I am as always extremely excited to see old faces and meet new ones, I am also dreading going shopping for a formal dress and new bathing suit. Why you may ask? Because the weighing scale in our bathroom is either broken or needs a new battery….I know I know its not the reading on the scale that matters, its how you feel about yourself….bla bla bla.
